Before and After by Sue Bryce

Famous photographer Sue Bryce has been for 23 years and one of her most celebrated photography projects is entitled Before and After. Her style is contemporary fashion inspired portraiture. Her photo sessions are pamper sessions, a girls day out and a perfect reason to celebrate everything about being a woman, young or old.

Sue Bryce has a way of transforming her subjects without much use of Photoshop, just the help of hair, makeup and of course Bryce’s incredible skill behind the camera. Bryce is very meticulous and she always notices every single detail, whether the jaw is relaxed or that is the hair is big enough. She brings out the inner goddess of of her subjects and produces beautiful and stunning images.

Bryce’s greatest lesson for all of her subjects is beauty. That beauty is beyond the physical and radiates from all of us – we just have to coax it out and it is something that shines from inside out.

On Foot by Steve McCurry

Steve McCurry is one of the most iconic voices in contemporary photography for more than 30 years. He studied film before going on to work for a local newspaper. Later on, he made his first of many trips to India with a little more than bag of clothes and a camera which he used document his exploration in the country.

His photography project On Foot show different pairs of feet showing different aspects of the people. The ones with dirty, ragged and torn shoes ans slippers represent poverty, the hardships and struggles while the ones with comfortable and neat foot wears depict a comfortable life.

It was after he experienced being smuggled to Afghanistan while the Russian Invasion is at large, that he showed the world the first images of conflict in Afghanistan. Since then, McCurry has gone on to creating iconic images on countless countries focusing on cultures, conflicts and traditions but never always retaining the human element.
