Right Time, Right Place by Robert Rutoed

The photography project Right Time, Right Place is a collection of photos that Vienna born photographer Robert Rutoed made in the last five years in his travel through Europe. The photos revolve around the concept whether it is possible for people to be in the right places at the right times. These are serendipitous moments that are a departure from the mundanity of everyday, typically goes unnoticed and dissipates with a blink of an eye.

His photos are spontaneous and not staged and therefore they are not a result of an idea but rather they are the idea itself. His photo project was awarded the Special Prize of the Czech Center of Photography at Photo Annual Awards and a photo from the series won the New York Photo Award 2012 in the category Fine Art.

The photo above is just one of the many in Corey Arnold‘s photography projects showcasing his adventures and that of his fellow fishermen out in the seas of Bering, Europe and Norway and the lives they live. Arnold has spent 15 seasons working as a commercial fisherman in Alaska and while on board, he takes random pictures of him and his co-fishermen doing stuff like throwing the hook and sorting the catch.

His work has been exhibited worldwide and he has published two books, Fish Work: The Bering Sea (2011) and Fishing with My Dad 1978-1995 (2011)

Not only did he focused on his fishing trips but he also made a series of photographs exploring the relationship of human and animals.
