Shattering Ceramic Destruction by Martin Klimas

Shattering Ceramic Destruction by Martin Klimas

Martin Klimas likes the idea of capturing photos in action and one of his photography projects with this unique idea are the shattered ceramics which features porcelain figures broken into pieces. In contrast with the stillness of the figurines, these photos show movements and tell stories of each character. Klimas likes to blow things up and it can be seen in two of his photography series, the one where he featured broken flower vases and splashes of water.

To capture this kind of photos, one should be a master of high speed photography and Klimas sure is. For this series alone, he spent six months and about 1000 shots to produce his final images.
