Experimental Photography by Bagrad Badalian

When you say photography, people will think “fashion”, “beautiful models” or “advertising” but photographer Bagrad Badalian created a different niche, one that is different than anything else.

Badalian started this experimental photography project by experimenting with different types of lighting techniques and combining them with reflective body painting. He and his makeup artist Orla McKeating removed the color from their models and added colors of their own with light painting. The camera is then set to low shutter to capture these abstract images as the subjects moved.
