French photographer David Chambon has focused his lens on wildlife and nature photography for over ten years. From large beasts to tiny insects. He is also fond of macro photography, magnifying the littlest yet most beautiful details and seeing it at a bigger scale.

In these series, as insects rise in the morning, Chambon is there capture the condensed moisture that has covered their little legs and wings throughout the night making them look like they’re encrusted with diamonds. Waking up early in the morning allows him to capture these macro shots.

Roughly translated from French, the artist says, “I see to capture the magic moment and to capture the spectacular beauty of our nature.” His obvious skill and patience is evident in his magnificent photographs.

Who could have ever thought that the creatures lived beneath the sea were this colorful? Well, LA based photographer Felix Salazar brought the world wonderful photos of coral reefs and sea creatures. His underwater macro shots are breathtakingly detailed.

The photos in his project Reef Dwellers were not actually taken under the sea. These corals really live in huge saltwater aquariums. One might think that this images were Photoshopped, but these were the ones he got just right, selected from hundreds of shots.

Felix Salazar is not just a photographer but also a composer and a guitarist. He is the resident composer/arranger and co-director of Los Angeles Electric 8.
